Will this work for a leopard gecko incubator?

Well I was going to do the cooler method but I was really confused with that so I decided I could maybe do this. I would use a ten gallon tank and cover it with tinfoil. Than inside I will put a tupperware with some holes in it and damp vermiculite. For heating I will have a under tank heater and a thermometer on the ground where the under tank heater is. I'm not sure if I need a thermostat or anything else so any and all help is appreciated!
