Can i hatch a chick this way? JUST WONDERING!!?

i was JUST WONDERING because i have chickens if i can take one of the fertilzed eggs and put it in a blacket under a regualar lamp. i am not going to do this becasue i have a incubator but i was just wondering!! (:
