I was 13yrs old when i stopped sucking my thumb.I can't remember how old old i was when i stopped sucking it in public but i know i was very young i was scared of the reaction of people.My mum checked with the school to make sure this was not doing any harm to my education and in fact i was exceeding my age group.What is it you see wrong with this.Stigma.

You just need practice. But get somebody to go with you that is more encourGing and not a nervous wreck. And also more road like conditions would help instead of a parking lot

UK Travel Help Needed?

So I'm going to be in Scotland (Stirling) in September, October, November and December and as a HUGE fan of Doc Martin I'd love to go see Port Isaac. I was searching for nearby hostels and airports/train stations but was running a bit out of luck. It seems the closest hostel to PI is in Newquay which Google maps say is a good 45 min. drive. I won't have a car so I'm wondering how can I get from Stirling to Port Isaac the cheapest (and in a timely manner) and then get a cheap lodging? Do you suggest staying in Newquay and going to PI for the day and coming back? Is there a train station near Port Isaac or a bus system? I'm from the States so I have no idea :P Any help is really appreciated.

Travel pay and per diem rates?

ok my husband and I pcsd to Ft. Richardson on May 29, lodging was not set up so we had to provide our own lodging out of pocket. We did for 16 days until we got a house on base. on day 13 we looked in out bank and we had $2000 in travel pay. When we went to housing they told us to turn in all of our reciepts so we can be reinburst our money. So we took our receipts turned them in and the guy was telling us about per deim rates were like over 100 dollars a day for him. but our question is are we going to be reinburst what we paid in lodging or is that what the travel pay was? we paid over 800 dollars out of pocket for lodging and were expecting it back but what was 2the 2000 we got? we didnt go to travel and turn in anything before today so why did we get the 2000? and what about our lodging we paid for? are we going to get that back?

I saw it make 3 distinct direction changes that were so sharp and quick( all totalled, I saw it for about 5 seconds before it took off and was completely beyond the horizon). There is no way that any aircraft that I know of could have made such sharp direction changes and accelerated with such speed that the pilot would be able to withstand the G-forces. I know that somebody will dispute this but if they were standing where I was standing and saw what I saw, I would like for them to try to reason what they just saw. Why do most videos just show something going in a straight line or floating? What I saw was crisp and decisive, Awesome!

Lumps in breastmilk causing pain?

Sounds like it could be a blocked milk duct. I had this, which in my case led to mastitis several times. Expressing made the pain worse and feeding relieved it. One doctor I went to see told me it was thrush, another said mastitis. Antibiotics worked miracles. Mention it to your health visitor. In the meantime I am afraid there is little you can do. A warm bath/compress can help ease it a bit. I would definitely say keep feeding as normal until you have been to clinic.
