Themostat broke during incubation?

hi, my corn snake eggs are about 2weeks from hatching and last night i checked the temperatures of the incubator and every thing was fine it was 82F but about 10-15minutes later i checked the temps again b4 going 2 sleep and the temps were 100.1F and my thermostat was still on... i panicked and took the eggs out and turn the thermostat off and checked the eggs, they were hard instead of being firm. to be on the safe side i returned the eggs back 2 the incubator but turn it all off...... and this morning i checked them and they do look fine and feel firm again... what i was wondering is that could the eggs still be alive after being them temps for about 10-15minutes??? i have a new thermostat now and everything is back to normal temps wise....... and still the eggs seem fine 20hours later... thanks for any help
