Will my bird lay on her egg again?

If, as you say, she is due to lay her next egg then they do move other eggs aside so they can lay the next egg safely. They also do not incubate ( keep warm ) the first eggs they lay so you dont need to be worried about he first egg being kept warm yet. they wait till they have a few more eggs before incubating.
