Leopard Gecko egg general questions?

The egg was laid yesterday, it seems a little soft and has indents, i candled it and you can see what appears to be (what i know about general biology) a fertilized embryo, i have it in an incubator (fish tank heater water and a brick in a foam cooler), w/ perlite, im just curious if you would say it was fertile, should i take it out of the incubator and leave it open to the air to harden or is it normal for it to be soft for the first 24 hours?
